Patty Gallagher is an Artistic Associate at both Santa Cruz Shakespeare and The Rogue Theatre in Tucson, Arizona. Performing credits include: The Comedy of Errors, The Winter’s Tale, Love Labour’s Lost, Romeo & Juliet, Two Gentleman of Verona, Measure for Measure, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Hamlet, Much Ado about Nothing, Macbeth (Santa Cruz Shakespeare); Henry IV, Part 1, Three Musketeers, Diaries of Adam and Eve (Shakespeare Santa Cruz); Moby Dick,Three Tall Women, King Lear, Merchant of Venice, Kafka’s Monkey, A Winter’s Tale, Orlando, Othello, Arcadia, The Decameron, The Tempest, Good Woman of Setzuan, Cherry Orchard, Purgatorio, Naga Mandala, Red Noses, Act Without Words, Journey to the West (Rogue Theatre); As You Like It, Comedy of Errors, Twelfth Night, Happy Days, A Midsummer Night’s Dream (California Shakespeare Theatre); The Conference of the Birds, Orestes, Two Gentleman of Verona (Folger Theatre; Washington DC); Shipwrecked! (Jagriti, India); and Happy Days (Ranga Shankara, Bangalore). In addition to her work on stage, she also served as a director, movement director, and dramaturg. Patty was the former Director in Residence at the Clown Conservatory, CircusCenter, in San Francisco, CA.

Acting, Feminist Theater, Balinese Dance, Dance Drama, Beckett, Movement for Actors, Shakespeare, Clown and Mask Traditions.

Honors and Awards: 
  • From 2014-2017 served as the Pavel Machotka Chair in Creative Studies, Porter College.
  • Fulbright Scholar 2006, Lecture and Research Fellowship – Quito Ecuador.
